ORCAL Klick Fix 125 Side Bag Supports

Good quality equipment.

However, the shape of the mounting brackets differs for the Astor compared to the photo, and contrary to what I thought when I saw the picture, the passenger grab handles must be removed to install them, and the turn signals must be relocated.
I haven't fully installed the system yet because the turn signals need to be moved, and I don't want to drill into the fender.
It's a shame about the passenger grab handles because they were very useful for helping to put the motorcycle on its center stand.
Otherwise, the click-fix system must be great for easily and quickly removing the saddlebags when they're not needed, and the motorcycle returns to its almost original appearance.

Macbor 410 luggage rack

Hello
Very good, but the last filter hole doesn't line up with the one on the motorcycle; I had to use a shorter screw.

Good product, except the screw holes need to be redrilled, which is a shame.

No assembly instructions included.

Mixed feelings

When I received the package, I was very excited. Fast delivery, well packaged, and the bracket looked great.

However, during installation, my first doubts arose. As you can see in the photos, the bracket didn't fit. There was a difference of 8.5 mm, so the top screw and the two lower screws couldn't be attached. Luckily, I have access to a press. Very carefully and slowly, we were able to pull the bracket apart a little. After a few attempts, we finally succeeded. And indeed, the roll bar looks very nice and vintage. My Bonnie has definitely gained in value because of it.

However, I have doubts as to whether this roll bar can withstand a hard impact. The bar is made of very thin steel. Time will tell whether the chrome will survive a German winter. The price, on the other hand, is much lower than that of the original Triumph roll bar. However, I should mention that the original roll bar is attached to the side of the frame with two screws on each side. This means much more stability and also significantly more robust material.

However, I have doubts as to whether this roll bar can withstand a hard impact. What was also unpleasant was that the two lower screws were completely different sizes. I had to use a 13mm wrench for one, and a 14mm socket for the other. See photo.

So that explains my mixed feelings.

In summary: a 5 for appearance, a 3 for quality, but a real 1 for quality control and fit.

I find it unacceptable that a product with such poor workmanship is sold in Europe. Next time, I'll definitely buy an original. But hey, I might get many years of use out of this bar. I can't say for sure yet.
