Many things to review
I'm very happy with the result, but it was a real struggle; the product isn't well-designed at all. 1) The passenger grab handles aren't compatible with this bracket; they have to be removed. 2) The turn signals can't stay in place with this bracket, so I had to drill through the metal fender and mount them laterally on top of it, after disconnecting and reconnecting the wiring harness under the seat. It's a real DIY job, and there's no mention on the website that you'll have to modify the rear turn signal placement. 3) The right saddlebag touches the exhaust, even when adjusted as far forward as possible. The leather at the bottom of the saddlebag is constantly in contact with the exhaust, so I had to buy a metal heat shield. I should mention that the motorcycle is 100% stock. In conclusion, I'm quite disappointed with this product, which I expected to install in 20 minutes but which took me a whole day to modify to make it compatible. Red card for Spaan . I must admit, however, that after putting in the effort, I'm pleased with the result.
Good, but instructions would be better.
No installation instructions
Sissy bar 1220 max
It's a shame there are no assembly instructions in French; perhaps a tutorial would be helpful.
Overall, OK, but the quality of treatment was disappointing.
The sissy bar in general was OK, but the workmanship was disappointing. The holes after drilling weren't finished, leaving sharp, protruding edges. I had to grind and tint them myself – disappointing for this price.
I had to enlarge the hole corresponding to the shock absorber bolt. And weld a transverse rod onto the upper part.
